Win 10 will not IMHO ever be able to run DOS natively. An alternative if your hardware supports it would be to run windows XP in a hyper-v (virtual machine) and run DOS in that. Move your newly-created shortcut to where you want to. Without any configuration, DOSBox will run just fine and play most games. You will continue to need a DOS emulator like DOS box.

Now you can change the drive Z into C drive. First, download and install DOSBox, then create a shortcut to the DOSBox executable (right-click DOSBox and select 'Create shortcut'). The DOS era ended only about 20 years ago, but this environment seems unbelievably primitive compared to today's information technology. DOSBox was originally designed to keep using popular DOS games on modern 64 bit Windows computers, so it lacks of some important features for business DOS.
